I know that when you travel sometimes the hours in the day aren’t enough, but if you happen to be around these dates I’m detailing below, it might be a good idea to spend your day or night and have fun.

These exciting activities you could take part of if you are staying or living in Costa Rica during the months of February and March 2019 are public events and some of them have tickets on sale online, I’ll link everything in every one:

Festival del Helado Artesanal, Antigua Aduana

Fancy a nice handcrafted ice cream or gelato? Are you a Sweettooth?

On March 16th, there will be a fair gathering lots of Ice Cream artisans in Costa Rica, it will be a sweet time guaranteed. From traditional flavors like chocolate, vanilla and strawberry, to more exotic ones as passion fruit with chocolate, “Churchill” which you have to try since it’s a very Costa Rican flavor.

It will be hosted in the old customs building located in Escalante, San José. This place was used as national customs agency during early 1900 and now it’s used for events.

If you want to see San José at night, with a group of the city lovers, this is the event for you.

Next February 28th at night there will be this walk through historical spots in San José, in which you will visit places and some new sculptures San José is flaunting since last week.

I am in love with this city, it has good spots to go and have a GREAT coffee, places to sit and enjoy the warm breeze while watching people, and with this kind of activity you get to see it with a guide! It doesn’t get better than that.
